This week’s newsletter is about having a plan in your homeschooling and parenting life. If you’re not on the newsletter yet, what are you waiting for? 😊 The newsletter is where I fill in all the details and dive a little deeper on a topic, as well as point you to resources that you might cold use for that specific topic.

✨ How to Launch Teens Who Are Actually Ready for Life
When I was asked to speak to a homeschool group about organization, I paused.
Yes, I love a good planner—but something deeper kept surfacing:
➡️ No amount of organization matters if your child isn’t prepared for life.
We can fill in lesson plans, track grades, and check all the curriculum boxes…
But the real question is:
Are we preparing them to thrive as adults?
✅ The Mindset Shift That Changed Everything
Homeschooling isn’t just school at home.
It’s an opportunity to build a strong foundation for life beyond the home.
Instead of focusing on academic completion, our family started focusing on five key areas—what we now call CHASE.
🔠 The CHASE Framework (Simplified)
C – Character
Raise kids who are honest, kind, and dependable.
H – Habits
Establish routines that help them manage time, energy, and responsibilities.
A – Attitude
Teach them to handle challenges with resilience, not defeat.
S – Skills
Prioritize real-world know-how like cooking, communication, and problem-solving.
E – Education
Still important—but it should support the bigger picture, not define it.
Want more? Here are two resources for you. The first is my workshop on Raising Responsible Adults, which dives deeper into the CHASE framework. You can also read about it at this blog post series.
💬 Final Thought
You don’t need to fix everything at once.
Just pick one area. One focus. One small shift.
And remember:
“Let us arise and build… So they put their hands to the good work.”
(Nehemiah 2)
You’re doing a good work, even on the hard days.
