Hey y’all!  It’s time for Friday Favorites! Each Friday I am posting a favorite resource that has really helped me or my family. I am rotating these based on different topics: favorites when we had little ones, favorites for our teens, spiritual growth, chores/skills and preparing for college.  So if this week’s topic isn’t one you’re interested in, stay tuned for another week!  For my general resource list that covers all those topics and many more, click here. This week, I am sharing my absolute favorite book on teaching worldview issues to teens. There are many books out there that I’ve tried or read and there are also curriculum and conferences that either you or your teen can attend. But by far, this is my favorite book that will help you guide your teenager through the cultural questions of our day.

The book is called A Practical Guide to Culture: Helping the Next Generation Navigate Today’s World. It is written by John Stonestreet and Brett Kunkle. It covers topics such as identity, same-sex marriage, transgenderism, substance abuse, pornography, and affluence – to name a few!  Such a great resource for discussing the hard things with your kids.

Right now it’s on sale for $9 off! Great price!

I especially love the discussion questions to consider at the end of each chapter. This would be a great study to do with your older teens.

What does training your kids up in a Christian worldview look like in your house? Post a comment below!
